Prince of Songkla University (PSU)
Prince of Songkla University is the first and largest university in Southern Thailand. The university was established in 1967 under the Southern Development Plan policy with the intention to become the leading university in the southern region of Thailand, in terms of delivering graduate students, academic research and academic services whilst appreciating and maintaining arts and culture. The university’s management aims to produce graduates who empower the country and are equipped for the real world.
The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism (FHT) was established in 1997 offering international programs in hospitality and tourism management in order to support the development of the country’s tourism industry. FHT has more than 2,500 alumnis, and supported many key industry and government projects.

Chiang Mai University (CMU)
Chiang Mai University (CMU) was founded in January 1964, under a Royal Charter granted by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. As Thailand’s first provincial university, CMU was established in accordance with the government’s policy and objectives for providing the various regions of the country with centers for academic and occupational education, creating the transfer of multi-faceted research, and providing academic services to the national community in line with the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, particularly serving Northern Thailand. Currently, the university operates as a national research institution, tasked with generating knowledge and offering knowledge-based services, while also focusing on research and innovation development. It serves as an educational hub situated in the northern region of Thailand.

National University of Laos (NUOL)
National University of Laos (NUOL) is a national and comprehensive university, established in 1996 by amalgamating three universities and seven colleges and institutions operated under different ministries into one university. The university is under the supervision of Ministry of Education and Sports in designing and delivering educational programs and academic services to socio-economic development in Lao PDR. It has been dedicated to achieving its vision of becoming a center for education and research, adhering to high regional and international standards for quality. Notably, NUOL is a member of the ASEAN University Network. The university has five campuses in Vientiane, hosting 13 faculties, and offers a wide range of 244 academic programs varying from associate degree to doctoral levels. NUOL is home to 1,608 staff members and 18,288 students (2023-2024), including over 500 international students in both non-degree and degree programs, mainly from Vietnam, China, and Cambodia.
International academic cooperation is one of the NUOL’s institutional strategies to enhance the quality of educational provisions and learning outcomes. To date, the university has established partnerships with 350 higher education institutions in 32 countries (as of 2024), mainly from Asia and Europe. The cooperation concentrates on five key aspects: student and staff mobility, joint research, exchanges of scholarly publications, promotion of academic and cultural exchanges, and scholarships for human resource development. Since the 2000s, NUOL have involved in a number of international credit mobility and capacity building in higher education projects under the framework of Erasmus Mundus and Erasmus+ Programme, such as INNO4Tourism, ASTRA, CIRCULAR, and OPEN.

Savannakhet University
Savannakhet University (SKU) is the fourth public university administrated by the Ministry of Education and Sports and is located in the central part of Lao PDR. Since its establishment in 2009, SKU has continued to value its human resources for serving the community in accordance with its vision of expanding and providing equal access to higher education for students in the central region.
SKU functions as an intellectual resource as it provides academic services to society. These academic services implement the three characteristics and five pillars of education under the new national education reform framework as SKU continues to be the oasis of higher education in the central part of the country.

University of Macedonia
The University of Macedonia (UOM) was established in its current form in 1990 and is located in Thessaloniki, in Northern Greece. It is a State University under the responsibility of the Ministry of Education. It is a dynamic institution with four faculties consisting of eight undergraduate academic departments covering thirty graduate programs in disciplines with a high demand in the labour market. About 16.000 undergraduate and 2.000 graduate students attend courses in the University of Macedonia.
The University of Macedonia has implemented projects under most of the former Erasmus programme, former framework (FP7) and Industrial Relations and Social Dialogue programme as well as many European Territorial Cooperation Programme. Currently UoM participates as a coordinator or a beneficiary in projects under the Erasmus+ programme, as well as the Horizon 2020 programme. Τhe scientific team of the project belongs to the department of Business Administration which is conducting research and educating students on issues of decision-making, business administration analysis and tourism research. The Department of Business Administration also contributes to the promotion of knowledge on the broader field of Tourism Management and the creation of executives capable of operating professionally in their field of business (such as hotels, travel agencies, and catering companies) or organizations (such as municipal and regional tourism agencies), and promoting the development of research and its applications to act in their respective areas.

Symplexis
Symplexis is a Greek non-for-profit organization that strives to ensure equal opportunities for all through actions and measures that build skills, empower and promote active engagement and participation focusing on the most vulnerable categories of the population and particularly those with fewer opportunities.
Symplexis’ mission is to elevate social cohesion through integrated actions and project-based activities that aim at promoting the inclusion of disadvantaged groups at risk of marginalization and exclusion, while promoting and protecting the rights of various types of population groups that face discrimination focusing on the empowerment and support of victims, awareness raising and information sharing at all levels.

Università degli Studi di Palermo
Founded in 1806, the University of Palermo is an internationally-acknowledged public research organization covering almost all main fields of study and fostering an interdisciplinary approach. As of January 2023, the academic community counts more than 40.500 enrolled students. Palermo is active in more than 1000 Erasmus agreements and 200 Framework Agreements apart Erasmus’s as of 2023. As for programs in tourism two bachelor’s programs in tourism and an international master’s program on Tourism Systems and Hospitality Management are offered at UNIPA, characterized by several double degrees with US universities and with other EU Higher Education Institutions.

CESIE ETS
CESIE ETS is a European Centre for Studies and Initiatives based in Palermo, Sicily. It is a non-profit, apolitical, and non-governmental organisation, implementing projects in more than 80 countries.
Established in 2001 and inspired by the work and theories of the Italian sociologist Danilo Dolci (1924-1997), CESIE contributes to the active participation of people, civil societies and institutions in various thematic areas, towards the promotion of growth and development, always valuing diversity in the respect of ethics and human development.
The organisation is dedicated to the promotion of research and development so as to increase and improve future-oriented innovation processes in educational, social, economic and cultural spheres.

Phuket Tourist Association
Phuket Tourist Association (PTA) was established under the Trade Association Act 1966 and is currently under the supervision of the Department of Business Development Phuket Province. PTA is established in order to promote businesses in Phuket that are directly related to tourism such as hotels, transportations, foods and beverages, souvenir shops as well as entertainment and recreational businesses.
Founded on July 28, 1978, PTA was initially run by Mr. Vijit Na Ranong as the 1st President. More than 500 organisations were members of PTA since 1978. Nowadays, PTA has 281 members of which 213 are ordinary members and 68 are extraordinary members.
